Large 4to, 17 vols. half title, frontispiece with engraving of the Saint, title page in red and black with vignette of personification of Faith. Roman and Italic letter, occasional Greek type. Head pieces, historiated initials, double-column text. Bound in contemporary vellum over boards, gilt title stamped on spine. “Ex · Libris · Monasterii · Beatae · Mariae · Virginis · De · Worth” printed on label glued to front pastedown, also with bookseller’s label: A. D. Woodhouse, Birmingham. Red speckeled fore-edges. Text fine, just a touch of age yellowing throughout. A beautiful set.
