Foxing and browning throughout, mostly on the margins; T-page and Prefatory remarks trimmed with tape on margins; small tears on right margin of last pages; one plate torn fixed with tape on verso. Green morocco binding, slightly stained; rounded corners; gilt red morocco label with title on spine. Overall, a good copy.

 

William Tombleson (1795 – 1846) was an English artist, author, and printmaker best known for his topographical drawings of the Rhine River in Germany and the Thames River in England. The book was also printed in German and French.
