Ex libris of William and Marianne Salloch on second front flyleaf. The Sallochs were well-known American rare book dealers of the second half of C20th. Bound in light red cloth, gilt title to spine on black label. A wonderfully well-preserved, nearly pristine set, showing 6000 fac-simile title pages and engravings from rare editions of French authors issued between C15th and C18th. A exceptionally fine unopened and uncut set.
